Better Health, Better Care, Better Value
The Assessment Centre is scheduled to take place the week commencing the 14th August 2017.
Health and Care services are going through an unprecedented period of change to ensure we deliver sustainable services for the population for the future. The Sustainability and Transformation Plan developed by all the health and social care partners across the footprint has set out how we will redesign services to deliver the NHS England 5 Year Forward View and its subsequent “next steps” report. Our local Sustainability and Transformation Plan known as the Better Health, Better Care, Better Value Programme sets out how our health and care system will be transformed delivering better health outcomes for our populations and a sustainable health and care system.
We have established workstreams of representatives from across the health and care system to deliver the priorities we have set out and we are now seeking ambitious and talented individuals, to continue the work that has already commenced within the partnership.
Posts are offered on a two years fixed term contract. Employees of partner organisations (listed on the job description) are welcome to apply on a secondment basis with the prior support of their line manager and inline with their organisations secondment policy. Please note, applications for secondment will not proceed to interview stage until agreement to release is confirmed by your current line manager / organisation.
Split into two core teams; (Programme Performance Office (PMO) and Transformation Workstream), and supported by Communication and Engagement Specialists, these posts will work within the Workstream Team reporting to the Head of Programme Management Office.
We are looking to recruit a Head of Programme Management Office (PMO) who will have overall responsibility for developing and leading on the CIP and Transformation Plan, focussing on management by exception, grip, risks to delivery and quality and accountability in addition to senior change leadership, project management, service analysis, service redesign and capability building expertise to the Trusts and services that fall within the Better Health, Better Care, Better Value programme.
Applications are encouraged from existing staff working within organisations in the partnership as we are keen to build a team which represents the diversity of talent existing within our partners’ organisations and which will draw upon the wide skills and expertise which make up our health and care system.
