Homeless Prevention Assistant X3

 

Salary: £27,241 - £29,410

Hours: 37 hours per week (may be required to work out of hours)

Location: Wolverhampton 

Job Type: Permanent

 

Overview:

We have an exciting opportunity for three Homeless Prevention Assistances to join our Homeless Services division at Wolverhampton Homes. 

 

Key Responsibilities: 

  • Assistant in providing housing / homeless advice and guidance to those who are homeless or threatened with homelessness.
  • Support in preventing and relieving homeless in line with the current homeless legislation.
  • Operate a front-line homeless services duty to customers who are homeless / threatened with homelessness both face to face, over the telephone, by email or any other forms of communication, in a range of settings.
  • Deal with both written and verbal communications from customers in relation to cases being managed by the Homeless Solutions Team.

  • Do you have excellent written and verbal communication skills?
  • Can you work under pressure and to tight deadlines?
  • Are you able to demonstrate strong emotional intelligence and the ability to handle sensitive situations?
