The Urgent PI Service provides support to individuals who live in their own home. The service is registered with the Care Quality Commission and is based at Wildwood, County Hall Campus.
The aim of the service is to provide support to individuals so they can remain in their homes and to promote their independence following hospital discharge or crisis intervention and, to observe during a period of assessment any ongoing service requirements that would aid recovery.
The service is provided across the county of Worcestershire so the need to travel is essential.
We are looking to recruit Urgent Response Home Care Assistants.
The post holder would take part in a 2 week rolling rota which covers 7 day working.
We understand that our domiciliary care staff are paramount to the quality of the service as such, we provide excellent training and training time is paid for. We pay travel time between calls and you can claim for the miles you drive in your car. We have excellent terms and conditions which include paid holiday above the statutory legal requirement and inclusion into the local authority pension scheme.
The service is provided from 07.00 to 22.00. It is centrally managed through a Call Centre based in Worcester, which is open from 06.30 to 22.00. You need to have good communication skills and excellent organisational skills. You will need an understanding of maintaining the health & safety and wellbeing of service users in their own home and the effective skills to report and record information accurately
