Commissioning Support Officer - Older People's Commissioning Team
Primarily, the Older People’s Commissioning team’s main focus is on developing integrated commissioning plans with health and other partners e.g housing authorities for the support of older people within Warwickshire. These plans have a focus on enabling older people and their carers to help themselves remain independent with a focus on early intervention and preventive solutions that will reduce and/or delay the need for more costly specialist care. The team commission services that will create capacity to meet the needs of the growing population of older people in Warwickshire, whilst achieving this with limited resources.
37.0 Hours per Week
2 Fixed Term Contracts for 12 months

We are seeking candidates with transferable skills and experience who will be able to support our work programme, mainly by supporting Commissioners who have lead roles in Dementia commissioning, Assistive Technology, Extra Care Housing and building Community Capacity.
