6.0 Hours per Week

Fixed Term contract from Monday 4 September 2017 until Friday 20 July 2018.

Part-Time Contract - minimum of 6 hours per week linked to pupil numbers using the childcare facility.

Hours: Between 8.45 am and 3.25 pm (plus additional hours when required)

Salary is dependent on age, experience and subject to appropriate qualifications.

16-18 years will be £4.05/hour

18-20 years will be £5.60/hour

21-24 years will be £7.05/hour

25 and over will be £7.50/hour

This is a term time only position and you will be paid on an hourly rate. Staff in Angels are currently paid monthly and by cheque. It is expected that this will change to electronic transfer in the Autumn Term.

Angels Childcare Facility caters for rising 3 year olds to children who are 5 years of age. It is a childcare provision supporting the school nursery.

The Voluntary Management Committee of our Angels Childcare Facility, a facility which serves the children and parents of St. Anne's Catholic Primary School, wish to appoint an enthusiastic and highly motivated Playworker to join our friendly and very supportive staff. Level 3 appropriate qualification is desirable but Level 2 is essential. All staff are required to complete and DBS Clearance (Criminal Records Check).

Angels Childcare delivers a high quality service between the hours of 8.45 am and 3.25 pm. The successful candidate needs to be able to interact effectively with all stakeholders, support children in their play and contribute to the planning and setting up of sessions.
