Walsall Leisure’s health and fitness team are responsible for developing and implementing projects and initiatives that help to increase activity levels to benefit the physical, social and mental health of Walsall people.

We provide a variety of specialised programmes for older adults, adults and young people. These programmes range from individual advice services and weight management, to specialised exercise sessions for people with specific medical conditions.

We currently deliver the community element of the Walsall Falls Pathway, working in partnership with Walsall Hospitals Trust, Public Health and Age UK. We deliver specialist postural stability seated and standing exercise programmes “Falls and Balance (FAB)”, as well as “FAB plus” programmes within community settings across Walsall.   

We are looking to recruit to the following post to support the delivery of this programme:

15 hrs per week
G4 £8.93- £10.33 per hour
