TEACHING ASSISTANTS LEVEL 2 
2 x One to One – SEND
1 x Class Based (Reception)

Grade: TA2 – Pay Scale F points 07-10. Actual salary £17,335.77 - £18,538.15  for the 32.5hrs

Contract: We are ideally looking for TAs to work 8.30am to 3.30pm 5 days a week with half an hour lunch break but other hours would be considered. All 3 positions are term time only plus INSET days (39 weeks) These are fixed term contracts from 2nd September 2024 to 18th July 2025.

Should candidates be interested for further working hours we can also offer Playworker roles at our Breakfast and After School Club and would be happy to discuss this prior to application or at interview. 

Telford Infant School is a three form entry Infant school based in the north of Leamington Spa with approximately 270 children aged 4 to 7 on roll. At Telford Infants we put the children at the heart of absolutely everything we do and our strong, friendly team works closely together to ensure that every single one of our pupils is an inquisitive, resilient and successful learner eager for their next challenge.

1 to 1 Teaching Assistants
We are extending our team of Inclusion Teaching Assistants and are seeking to appoint enthusiastic and committed TAs who will support children on a 1 to 1 basis under the direction of our Associate SENCo and the class teacher.

We are looking for Teaching Assistants who:
•    are skilled practitioners who have experience of working with children with SEND or an understanding and passion for supporting children with SEND
•    ideally have experience of the Plan-Do-Review approach for children with SEND needs
•    are passionate about helping children achieve the very best that they can
•    understand the importance of nurturing the whole child
•    are flexible, resilient, enthusiastic and have good organisational skills
•    have good communication and interpersonal skills and have the ability to work as part of team as well as independently
•    are committed to the safeguarding and the well being of children

Class Based Teaching Assistant
We are also looking to appoint an enthusiastic and passionate Teaching Assistant to join our Reception team. We are looking for someone who is caring, flexible and dedicated to ensuring that all children all children reach their best possible outcomes.

We are looking for a Teaching Assistant who:
•    has experience of working in an Early Years environment
•    is passionate about helping children achieve the very best that they can
•    has excellent knowledge of children’s early developmental needs
•    can provide classroom support for learning and behaviour
•    can work as part of a team
•    is committed to the safeguarding and the well being of children
