We are looking to recruit an experienced social worker within our Fostering team.

We believe that the growth and development of our Social Workers is essential if we are to deliver outstanding outcomes for the most vulnerable children in Sandwell.

We are on the road to improvement but have some way to go – so our focus is on building on our multi agency and partnership working. We want to strengthen our teams to enable us in providing intervention and preventative solutions for the families we work with. We want you to make a real difference in children’s lives.

You must have the ability to work flexibly and outside core working hours.

You will need to be self-motivated, organised with effective communication skills both written and verbally.

You will have a recognised social worker qualification and an Enhanced DBS, you will also require registration with the HCPC.
