Garden Village Academy will open for Nursery and Reception aged pupils in September 2024 and then grow year-on-year up to Year 6. We welcome applications from suitably experienced Nursery Assistants to provide an enriched Early Years learning journey for children in the newly built community.  

 

With state-of-the-art facilities, the site also boasts abundant outdoor learning opportunities for children in a beautiful natural environment.

Job Summary 

 

Garden Village Nursery and Care Club are recruiting for a Level 2 or Level 3 in play work to work in a fun stimulating Care Club as part of the new Academy School. 

 

The key-duties of a Playworker include;

 

  • Provide a safe, stimulating environment for all the children with creative and appropriate play opportunities
  • Play and support children's learning Liaise with parent's and other professionals
  • Work as part of a team.

 

 

In addition to fulfilling the Person Specification, the successful candidate will:

  • be ambitious;
  • have high aspirations for every child in our care club, and strive to ensure that every second of their journey is magical, memorable and of the highest possible standard;
  • be committed to their own professional learning;
  • be able to contribute and support the care club relentless drive to enable limitless possibilities for every child;

The contract is a permanent position working term time plus 5 training days, with up to 6 additional days in the holidays.
