Causeway Green is a large friendly 2 form entry school and we have a committed, caring and enthusiastic team of staff.

We wish to appoint an individual who will work as part of a team as well as on own initiative, to maintain a good standard of cleanliness and hygiene around the school. This role is a demanding role, with hoovering, bending, and moping in all areas of the school. Including some manual handling. Training will be given in some parts of the role but at least 6 months experience in a cleaning role would be beneficial. You will be engaging with staff of all levels on a daily basis, whilst doing this role especially cleaning classrooms.

A full DBS with enhanced checks and two satisfactory references is required for this role, one reference will be requested in our shortlisting procedure prior to interview. Pre-employment checks will be carried out in line with KCSIE. 


This post is exempt from the Rehabilitation of Offenders Act 1974 and is eligible for an enhanced DBS check including a Children’s Barring List Check. If you are barred from working with children, you are breaking the law if you apply for this post. This post is covered by Part 7 of the Immigration Act (2016) and therefore the ability to speak fluent and spoken English is an essential requirement for this role.
