Russells Hall Primary School require a Temporary Year 6 Class Teacher to cover maternity from September 2024 until February 2025.

 

We are a two-form entry school.  We have a caring and positive atmosphere, where purposeful learning takes place.   The staff are highly motivated, enthusiastic, caring, hardworking and dedicated to providing the very best for our children.

 

We aim to provide a curriculum, which makes learning exciting and creative.  We hope this approach encourages children to achieve their full potential and aspire to the highest personal standards of achievement presentation and behaviour.  Our goal is to learn together to be the best we can be.

 

SKILLS WE ARE LOOKING FOR

  • UK Qualified Teacher Status (QTS)
  • Initial Teacher Training to be completed before role commencement
  • Passionate about teaching

The school is committed to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children and expects all staff and volunteers to share this commitment.  An enhanced DBS check and 2 appropriate references will be required for the successful candidate.  References for all shortlisted candidates will be requested prior to interview.  In line with Keeping Children Safe in Education 2022, online searches will be carried out on all shortlisted candidates.  The search is not part of the shortlisting process itself, and candidates will have a chance to address any issues of concern that come up during the search at interview.
