About the Role


Due to increased demand from schools, an exciting opportunity has arisen within the fully-traded, Education Finance service at Warwickshire County Council. Reporting to one of two Team Leads, the post-holder will positively contribute toward the range of financial and operational support services the traded-service delivers, all of which are focussed upon helping school leaders make better-informed strategic decisions.  


Key Requirements

  • A relevant degree, NVQ Level 4 or equivalent qualification OR at least 3 years’ experience in a finance environment
  • The ability to independently interpret and analyse varied and complex information or situations and to produce solutions over the medium term.
  • The ability to communicate, in person and/or writing, complicated or sensitive information with varied audiences.
  • Ability to use a keyboard with some precision and speed A/I The ability to use own initiative to respond independently to difficult problems and unexpected situations.
  • The ability to work under pressure including meeting deadlines and dealing with interruptions.
  • Experience of handling and processing manual or computerised information.
  • The ability to organise own workload and decide priorities.
