What We're Looking For:

We're on the hunt for someone with experience in commissioning external homes for children and home finding, both locally and regionally. As the Team Manager, you'll report directly to the Head of Commissioning and will have the exciting responsibility of managing a small, dedicated team within commissioning.

 

Your Role:

You'll be at the forefront of our home finding efforts, leading both operationally and strategically. Your knowledge of current local and national pressures in this area will be invaluable as you oversee all framework and spot contracts for external homes, serving as the designated link for the West Midlands regional commissioning.

 

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead tenders for external services Manage the home finding function within the team – and key staff Build a QA model for providers and Spot purchase contacts Work with our partners, to establish best practice in joint commissioning Support colleagues with their commissioning priorities Work out of hours for urgent home finding needs (flexibility required!).

 

What You'll Bring:

  • Strong understanding and experience in home finding Management /leadership experience Knowledge of commissioning and procurement processes Leadership skills to inspire and guide your team.
