Nuneaton Children's Team are looking for an experienced social worker or existing team manager to join our case management practice.
You will be joining a strong leadership team who are committed and proactive in delivering a childfocussed and outcomebased service to enhance the lives of children and young people in Warwickshire.
37.0 Hours per Week
Fixed term contrat until April 2018.
The successful candidate will be based in Nuneaton Children's Team until April 2018 at which time there is the potential for the post to be confirmed as permanent at Nuneaton alongside the potential for the postholder to be required to move to the same post in another front line Children's Team
The Team Manager role is key in ensuring consistently safe practice and in supporting and supervising social workers and promoting their development. You will be managing up to 6 FTE social workers and overseeing the delivery of services to children subject to CIN,CP,LAC, care proceedings and adoption. You will also participate in the duty managers rota and be an active part of the management group.
We are seeking an experienced social work practitioner who preferably has experience in long term/case management work in a front line children's team. We are looking for a candidate who recognises and strives towards consistently good practice and with a genuine commitment to achieving the best outcomes for Children and Families.
We are seeking to recruit a committed, enthusiastic, highly motivated and organised manager who will work hard and to high standards.

Supervisory experience is desirable but not essential.
