Post Title: Lunchtime Supervisor

Salary Details:  Grade A Scale point 2 -  Full time equivalent £22,366 pro-rata

10 Hours per week Term time only

 

We are currently seeking a dedicated and responsible individual to join our team as a Lunchtime Supervisor. As a vital member of our educational institution, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the safety and well-being of our students during their lunchtime break.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Supervise students during lunchtime, maintaining a safe and orderly environment.
  • Encourage positive behaviour and promote a respectful atmosphere among students.
  • Assist in ensuring students adhere to lunchtime routines and procedures.
  • Monitor and support students in the dining area.
  • Respond promptly to any incidents or accidents and report incidents to the appropriate personnel.
  • Collaborate with other staff members to maintain a cohesive and harmonious school environment.

Qualifications and Skills:

  • Previous experience working with children or in a school environment is desirable.
  • Strong communication skills, with the ability to interact effectively with students, parents, and colleagues.
  • Ability to maintain discipline and ensure the safety of students.
  • First Aid certification is desirable but not essential.
  • Reliable, responsible, and punctual, with a genuine passion for working with children.

Ability to work as part of a team and independently, demonstrating initiative when required.
