Job Details

Langley Primary is looking for three enthusiastic Band B (Level 2) learning supports to work with three of our children who need one to one support from September 2024. This is most likely to be in Reception to begin with and you would stay with the child as move up the school.

You will need to either have a Level 2 qualification in Supporting Children (or equivalent) already or have completed such a course successfully by the start of September 2024. We are willing to consider newly qualified staff of the right quality and potential. Experience of working with SEND children is not essential but optimism, enjoyment in working closely with a child to help them develop and a belief they can learn and develop is.

We can offer a great school to work in that has wonderful polite children, no suspensions of any sort for the past 10 years and a team of staff that will help you develop your skills and abilities. If you are willing to learn and work hard we will support you and train you to work with children that have additional learning needs. We are well respected in working with children who need some extra support and we will share our knowledge and skills with you. We had an OfSTED Inspection in 2022 and they won’t be back for a while!

Working one to one with a child is hard work and not for everyone. You have to be willing to enjoy small steps of learning and to be willing to try the same thing lots of different ways. If you like a challenge and to be able to think on your feet this is a job for you!  It is very rewarding to see the progress the children make and to learn about a single child so deeply.

If this is the sort of job for you why not apply and come and join us? You are very welcome to visit. If you have any queries please email them to or call us on 0121 5521744. You should send completed application forms to this address also.

Pre-employment checks will be carried out in line with KCSIE
