About us

We require a highly motivated teacher to join our team at Northwood Broom Academy. ECTs welcome to apply.

  • Can you bring MAGIC to the lives of children and help them to be the best that they can be, dream big and know that even the sky is no limit for them?
  • Do you listen to children and understand that sometimes their behaviour is their only way of communicating?
  • Are you ambitious for children’s achievement and believe that regardless of their background or learning needs, they should achieve their very best?
  • Do you believe that learning should be fun for the children AND the adults, do you love to chat to children, smile at them and constantly praise their successes?
  • Do you believe that every child should have the opportunity to learn in a positive environment, to enjoy the learning process and feel comfortable and safe?
  • Do you get a buzz from helping children master a tricky aspect of learning or personal development?
  • Are you keen to share new and innovative ideas to improve children’s lives?
  • Do you go over and above to bring that MAGIC to children’s lives every day?
  • Do you believe in working hard to achieve the best for everyone?
  • Do you have the knowledge to adapt teaching to meet the needs of all children?
  • Do you proven experience of raising attainment in an inner-city school in a deprived area?

If you can answer yes to all of the above then you should come and work at Northwood Broom to join our enthusiastic, talented and hard-working team who share this ethos!  We are on a journey of improvement to become an outstanding academy and our aim is to blow everyone’s socks off with what we can achieve!

We require a caring, creative teacher, with strong behavior management skills.  Salary is negotiable, depending on experience.

You will be welcomed to join a family of highly motivated and ambitious staff and be well-supported by the senior and middle leadership teams.   One of the advantages of a large school like Northwood Broom is to work within supportive year-group teams, where planning, resources and ideas are shared, and a helping hand is always next door.  We love to have fun with our children and aim to bring magic to their lives every day.

You are welcome and encouraged to visit the academy on Monday 17th June at 3.45pm.

Completed applications should be emailed by midday on Wednesday 19th June 2024.

Formal interviews will then take place on Friday 28th June 2024.

For visit interest or an application pack including a full job description and person specification, please email Mrs C Osborne on nbcs@espritmat.org

If you have any specific queries not addressed in the application pack, please contact the academy office at nbcs@espritmat.org or by telephone on 01782 234379.
