Job Details

Thank you for your interest in working at Co-op Academy Stoke-On-Trent. This is an unrivalled opportunity to join one of the most successful schools in the city. Furthermore, you will be joining one of the most progressive and forward-thinking multi-academy trusts that is driven by its collaborative ethos and commitment to social justice. Quite simply, you will be choosing to work in an academy and a trust that believes that a great education gives children the opportunity to realise their ambitions.

Co-op Academy Stoke-On-Trent is one of the founder members of our Trust. You will be joining a school that is routinely over-subscribed and achieves some of the very best outcomes in the city and wider region. Our success in achieving life-changing academic outcomes, as well as our commitment to first-class personal development, has led to an £8 million investment from the local authority and the expansion of our already excellent facilities, so that more young people in the north of the city can benefit from the education we offer. This is a fantastic time to join us as we work together to make our academy truly exceptional.

The Behaviour and Attendance Intervention Officer will be responsible for implementing strategies to improve the behaviour and attendance of students who are causing concern or struggling to meet the Academy’s expected standards in either of these areas. They will manage a caseload across one key stage and implement support and interventions to lead to improvements in behaviour and attendance.

If you wish to visit the Academy before applying, please email the HR Advisor, Miss K Hollinshead in advance on kym.hollinshead@coopacademies.co.uk

If you feel this job is for you, your completed application should be received by 9am Monday 24th June 2024.

Interviews to take place w/b: 24th June 2024
