Everyone at Exhall Juniors is committed to ensuring that our students have the best possible education and are keen to continue to develop opportunities to thrive. We are a caring school, where students, staff and parents/carers are valued. Expectations of behaviour and achievement are high, and we anticipate that any successful candidate would work hard with us to ensure these expectations are maintained.

Being a junior school, we are looking for a teacher to not only support a child’s previous Early Years and KS1 learning, but also to prepare them for their transition into secondary education. We are a small well-resourced school, where everyone is valued and have high aspirations for the children in our wonderfully diverse catchment area, our children are central to all we do. We have a strong commitment to professional development; staff have left us to be leaders at other schools, and we strive to support people to be the best they can be in their roles in school.

The year group is flexible, dependent upon knowledge and experience, though the desire to work collaboratively with colleagues and be involved in the full life of  the school is essential. This role is open to ECTs as well as experienced teachers, please mention any curriculum strengths in your application.

We can offer you
• A welcoming and caring school with well-behaved and motivated students who are enthusiastic learners
• The support of a fantastic team of committed, dedicated staff who are passionate about education with dedicated joint PPA time
• An exciting prospect to make an outstanding contribution to our school
• A strong commitment to your professional development
• Committed, supportive and hardworking Governors

Key Requirements
• Be highly motivated and committed to quality teaching and learning, whilst keeping children at the heart of everything we do.
• Demonstrate a classroom practice with high expectations for achievement and behaviour.
• Commitment to inclusion and success for all pupils.
• A sound knowledge of children’s learning and development within the primary years.
