Handyperson required 20 hours per week, term time only plus one week, Grade 1 scale point 2 - £11.59 per hour (pay award pending) to start as soon as possible.

The Governors of the Hednesford Hills Federation are offering the opportunity for a handyperson to join our team.

 The successful candidate will work across two establishments (Hednesford Nursery School and West Hill Primary School) located in Hednesford.

Days and times of hours worked are negotiable and should be worked in accordance with the requirements of each setting.

 We are a very hardworking and committed team of professionals who work together to provide a warm, safe and welcoming environment.

We are looking for someone who can contribute towards maintaining high standards of safeguarding for our pupils, staff and visitors across the Federation.

The role will include general building maintenance and completion of regular checks in line with the establishment’s health and safety policy.

We are seeking someone who:

  • Is self motivated and has a can do attitude. Enjoys general DIY and can turn their hand to small maintenance tasks, keeping the building tidy and safe. Is friendly and able to communicate well with both children and adults. Has some general knowledge of Health and Safety at work.
