It is our vision for learners to develop their curiosity while nurturing their love of learning. We aim to support our students to become independent, safe and happy individuals. We are a school that is striving for excellence, which was recognised in our last Ofsted visit: “Leaders are taking well-considered actions to address the weaknesses highlighted at the time of the previous inspection (Ofsted, 2023).” We are looking for individuals to join us on our journey.

We are seeking to appoint a dynamic teacher for the above position to join our hard-working and dedicated staff team at Brooke School on our development journey. At Brooke School, it is our vision for each learner to develop their curiosity to explore, discover and investigate their place in the world, nurturing their love of learning. Through our curriculum, learners develop essential knowledge across a broad range of subjects with opportunities to apply these in real world contexts to enrich their lives and create opportunities for future employment, training and education.

Our learners experience a language rich curriculum that ensures they can communicate effectively in a range of contexts. Expressive and spoken language underpin the development of reading and writing, giving our young people a voice in society. To do this, we have designed a curriculum full of inspirational topics, to suit a variety of students needs and tastes.

For this position, we are looking for a colleague who is positive, calm, engaging, resilient, and have an innovative style of teaching, motivated by helping every pupil to reach their potential.

Candidates should complete a Job Application Form and provide a detailed covering letter outlining the skills, experience and qualities that make them the ideal candidate for the role.

Brooke School is committed to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children and young people and expects all staff and volunteers to share this commitment. This position is subject to an enhanced DBS Check and satisfactory written references.
