Maidensbridge Primary School is situated on Beachcroft Road, Wall Heath. We are a one form entry school with an age range of 4-11 and currently have 210 pupils on roll.

Our aim is to create a happy and caring environment for children by providing a wide range of well-balanced learning opportunities for all to help them grow into independent and responsible people.

Teaching Assistant Level 3 (Pre-school) Grade 5

Would you like to join our new Pre-school?  We are recruiting for our Pre-school which commences in September 2024.  We are seeking a dedicated and passionate Teaching Assistant to provide high quality early childhood education who is observant to detail, enthusiastic and positive with a 'can do attitude' to join our friendly school.

You will:

- Work together with the EYFS Lead to promote our new Pre-school setting

- Support and lead pre-school Teaching Assistants as Lead TA

Plan and implement age-appropriate activities to stimulate children's development

- Monitor and assess children's progress, identifying areas for development

- Create a safe and supportive learning environment for all children

- Hold relevant qualifications in Early Childhood Education or Childcare (Level 3)

- Experience working with preschool-aged children in a nursery setting

Working 35 hours per week, Monday to Friday 8.15am - 3.45pm.

Whilst we are at the start of our Pre-school journey, you will initially be appointed on a fixed term contract for 12 months.
