Apprentice Teaching Assistant

We currently have an exciting opportunity for an apprentice teaching assistant (level 3). This role will encompass all parts of school life and will include some lunchtime, playtime and wrap around care duties. You will have the opportunity to work with a range of age groups across the school (reception – year 2)

The qualification you will get at the end:
• You will be working towards the Level 3 Teaching Assistant Qualification.
• You may also need to work towards Level 2 Functional Skills in Maths and English if not achieved prior.

What training will the apprentice take and what qualification will the apprentice get at the end?
• You will undertake all relevant training to support knowledge skills and behaviour in order to qualify as a Level 3 Teaching Assistant. The employed apprentice will have both on and off-the-job training each week.

What is the expected career progression after this apprenticeship?
• There may be the potential for a permanent post as a Teaching Assistant at the end of the apprenticeship
