Ham Dingle Primary has an exciting opportunity for a Level 2 Teaching Assistant to join our team for the start of the 24/25 Academic year. The successful applicant will need to:

  • Have a relevant Level 2 qualification (or equivalent) and good literacy and numeracy skills. Be willing to work on a one to one basis as well as being in the class room. Be willing to undertake duties such as lunchtime supervising. Attend weekly staff meetings (currently held after school on a Wednesday). Have a working knowledge of the national curriculum to support and extend learning under the direction of the class teacher. Have high standards and present as a positive role model for pupils. Have a positive attitude and be able to work as part of a successful and supportive team. Be able to show initiative when required. Have experience of working with primary aged children to support their learning and well-being. Liaise with parents/carers to build positive relationships. Be willing to develop their own skills through participation in training opportunities.
