Worcestershire County Council's Libraries and Learning Service is a Grade 2 learning provider on a journey towards being Grade 1. This advert seeks applications from Arts and Crafts specialist tutors, Yoga and Fitness tutors, ICT tutors and Alternative Therapies tutors who would like to be part of our vibrant team, leading learning in community settings including libraries, voluntary sector venues and community centres.
The team is currently expanding in order to enhance our delivery model in line with changing customer demands. Our tutors will be facilitating a mixture of class-based activity and more individualised contact to meet learners' needs.
Applicants are required to have a formal teaching qualification (BEd / PGCE / Level 3 Award in Education & Training) in addition to their subject specialist teaching qualification and demonstrable expertise in their chosen field. If you are successful with your application you will be registered in our Libraries and Learning staff pool as an Adult Tutor on a zero-hours contract and will teach adults from 19+ years of age. Interviews will include a short micro-teach presentation and an assessment of English, maths and ICT skills.
Further information regarding this will be available at interview. We advertise for tutors frequently to ensure an appropriate number of tutors are registered on our database at all times. Successful applicants who have taught with us during the past 12 months need not re-apply in future advertisements as your information will be stored in our
