East Staffordshire Borough Council provides a wide range of services to its residents.
 As a forward looking District Council we are looking to appoint a Legal Administrative Assistant within our Legal team.

 The main duties are supporting the legal team with the administrative support and assistance to other members of the Legal and Assets section.  While the role is providing support to other members of the team you have the opportunity to work on a wide range of legal issues and be exposed to interesting legal work.  


Required skills are:-

 An ability to follow procedures with accuracy
 Basic IT is essential along with good verbal and written communication skills

Ability to deal with sensitive information
 To be trustworthy and honest with a high standard of integrity

Enthusiasm, good organisational skills, able to work in a team and self-motivate


The hours of work are 37 hours per week, to be worked over 5 days Monday to Friday but school hours will be considered. The role is predominately office based but some homeworking is available.
