It plays a pivotal role in a number of key areas in determining best practice in all of our work relating to pre-proceedings and Court related matters as well as being the interface between the local authority and our partners within the Local Family Justice Board including other local authorities, the Courts, Cafcass and family solicitors.

As such you will have a strong background in Court related work in a statutory setting and experience of working alongside managers and practitioners from different agencies in a collaborative and creative manner. You will receive excellent support and training in the role.

You will be joining a council that received a 'Good' rating for its services relating to Children in Care which includes our pre proceedings and court related work in its latest November 2022 Ofsted inspection.
