We are seeking a dynamic and inspirational Teaching Assistant. You would be required to work with pupils in the classroom and possibly individually to assist with learning, safety, behaviour and motivation.

Would you like to work in a dynamic school in a very supportive environment? Would you like to work in a school where teachers are encouraged to develop personally and professionally and LOVE their job?

We are looking a Teaching Assistant Level 2 to work with us. Our staff have great things to say about our school,

"The headteacher promotes work life balance and there's always a listening ear"
(Year 2 teacher)
"We are a school that loves learning, reading, creativity and celebrating individuality"
(Year 6 teacher)
"The school is very supportive of all staff and works closely with the community to create a lovely family to work in”
(Year 4 teacher)

We would like you to
• Have the ability to organise resources under the guidance of the class teacher and initiative to plan next steps in development
• Have good communication and behaviour management skills
• Have a willingness to work as part of a team
• Most importantly, we want someone who is passionate about supporting these wonderful children to support and thrive in school.
• Experienced with supporting children with complex additional learning needs, although not essential
• Hard working and professional with the children's needs at the centre of all you do
• A good or outstanding practitioner with a passion and drive for excellence

You should
• Have a commitment to ensuring that your pupils are safe, fulfilled, nurtured and happy
• Be a good or outstanding practitioner with a passion and drive for excellence
• Provide a creative learning environment for your pupils, with high standards at the core of all you do
• Be an inspirational, positive role model
• Be an effective team player who can work with others to bring the Primary Curriculum to life through innovation and inspiration
• Be hard working and professional with the children's needs at the centre of all you do
• Be enthusiastic and self-motivated

What we can offer you:
• A creative environment that sees Stratford upon Avon as its campus. As the oldest primary school in Stratford we are proud of our history; the school was founded where Shakespeare was baptised and buried (Holy Trinity Church). We have many links and opportunities through this site of global significance
• The chance to co-plan an irresistible curriculum for our pupils
• Inspiration through training, visits to other schools and up to date research
• A supportive and dynamic school community
• "A school with endless possibilities and opportunities for its pupils and staff"
(Assistant Headteacher)
