EYFS Teaching Assistant plus Breakfast & After School Club

Job Start Date: from September 2024 onwards

31 hours and 15 minutes TTO plus 5 TED days plus Breakfast Club and After School Club Hours.

The Governors and staff of our large church school are seeking to appoint a suitably qualified Teaching Assistant to work in our EYFS classroom. This is an exciting opportunity to be part of a new direction for the school. The role will be full time term time only: 31 hours 15 minutes (8.40am – 3.25pm) per week. There is also an expectation that the post holder will undertake Breakfast Club and After School Club Duties as well. Breakfast Club runs from 07:30 to 08:40 and After School Club runs from 15:25 – 17:30

The successful candidate will:

  • Have experience of supporting children within the primary age range/school setting in particular EYFS
  • Have high expectations for our children’s progress and overall achievement
  • Take an imaginative and creative approach to curriculum learning that captures the children’s interest
  • Be flexible, forward thinking, innovative and highly energetic
  • Has an understanding of how children learn, including social/emotional development
  • Have experience in working with children with specific and/or complex needs
  • Have a passion for quality teaching and learning, enabling the best outcomes for our children
  • Be able to work well as part of our whole school team and school community
  • Support our Christian ethos as a church school
