John Taylor Multi Academy Trust (JTMAT) believes in the power of education to improve lives – and the world. As a partner academy in JTMAT, we are seeking to appoint an experienced, strong and tenacious Headteacher to join our evolving organisation.

Leading this outstanding school, the successful candidate will display the drive, skill and commitment to maintain and surpass the standard of educational excellence already achieved. Standards at this school are exceptional and we expect the new leader to have equally high standards of themselves, staff and students. As a strategic thinker with the necessary gravitas in your leadership style, you will have the ability to propel the vision forward and provide direction to improve teaching and learning.

Your recent successful experience as a secondary senior leader will enable you to organise and lead the staff team, build effective partnerships, and make decisions based on sound rationale.

This role is a rare opportunity to lead one of the best schools in Staffordshire and a key partner in our Trust. You will be well supported at school and Trust level, as well as working closely with an effective governing body.

If you have a passion for excellence and share our vision, we can offer you the opportunity to be part of a successful and progressive Trust, which is committed to ensuring learning is at the heart of all we do.

School visits: Visits to the school are available on the 10th and 18th July. If you would like to book a place on one of these days, please contact Abby Letren (Headteachers PA), by emailing or telephoning 01283 247800.
