The children, governors, staff and parents of Hempstalls Primary School are seeking to appoint a Clerical Assistant (Apprentice) to join our professional and friendly office team.


We are looking for someone who:

  • Will provide a warm and friendly welcome to all visitors to our school
  • Will undertake reception duties, answer routine telephone and face-to-face enquiries and assist the sign-in of visitors
  • Will assist with pupil welfare duties; liaise with parents/staff etc.
  • Will assist with arrangements for visits from relevant external bodies e.g. school photographer etc.
  • Has excellent ICT, communication and organisational skills
  • Fully understands and respects the importance of confidentiality
