Codsall Community High School

Permanent, 37 hours per week, Term Time only

Grade 6, Point 9-15 (£25,119 to £27,803). Actual pay £21,702 - £24,021 per annum

Codsall Community High is a comprehensive school for Years 9 to 13 situated in a semi-rural area of Staffordshire near Wolverhampton. It has over a thousand students on roll and almost three hundred in its highly successful sixth form.

We are looking for a highly motivated, emphatic and energetic member of staff to work closely with our pastoral team to provide the support and challenge needed to help our most under-resourced young people achieve success. Whether you are supporting an improvement in attendance, providing parenting guidance or mentoring a student, every day will be different and rewarding.

Our goal is to provide the very best educational journey possible for the children of the community which we serve. We do this through ensuring that our staff feel valued and part of a wider family, through investing in the ongoing professional development of all staff. Students in our school are wonderful, this role provides a chance to work with them and families closely, building strong relationships and to be the difference that some need on their educational journey. Working as part of the pastoral system in school, no two days are the same and you will experience a wide range of challenges and rewards as you see your year group flourish.

We offer you a workplace where colleagues are supportive and student/teacher relationships are excellent. This is a school that enjoys success and values the staff that make it possible.

To arrange an informal discussion about the post or to visit the school please contact Miss Williams, the Headteacher’s PA, at the email address show
