Working Pattern

The Bereavement Services Assistant Manager will be accountable to the Bereavement Services Manager for the daily management and development of all Bereavement Services activities, setting standards and monitoring performance. You will be responsible for all funeral services and ensure through others that all burials and cremations take place in accordance with client’s wishes. You will be responsible for ensuring the services we supply are provided to the highest possible standards and are carried out in accordance with legislation for burial and cremation.

You’ll need

The successful applicant will have the following skills and abilities:
• Have proven effective management skills and be able to demonstrate an ability to manage a service/ team on a daily basis
• Have excellent communication skills orally and in writing, including the preparation of reports and statistical information.
• Be able to deal with sensitive issues in a tactful way with care and empathy whilst demonstrating excellent problem-solving abilities.
•Have previous Bereavement Services or funeral industry experience.

salary: £30,153 - £36,379 per annum
