G7: £31,364 - £35,745 pro rata to hours worked (pay award pending)

Fixed Term Contract until 31st July 2025.

We have two exciting new opportunities for Careers & Enterprise Coordinators to join our Employment and Skills Team, working closely with schools based in the borough of Walsall. The positions will offer 30 hour per week contracts across five working days and will offer hybrid working conditions, with flexible working to meet the needs of suitable candidates.

The Careers & Enterprise Coordinators sit at the heart of our local education network to support schools and colleges improve their careers activities and engagement with the world of work. This work is measured using the Gatsby Benchmarks, a framework for school leaders, headteachers, and careers advisors to assess the development of their pupils in employability skills.

The Co-ordinators will work closely with the Walsall Works team, regional Careers & Enterprise Co-ordinators and the Black Country Enterprise Hub lead. They will facilitate the local Enterprise Adviser network to make it easier for employers to engage with schools and colleges by fostering positive working relationships between the world of work and education.

The Enterprise Coordinators primary focus will be the development and delivery of programmes and activities that are most effective in motivating young people and helping them to make informed career choices to enable them to progress to positive outcomes and destinations.
