Are you looking for a supportive role with flexible hours? Ellowes Hall Sports College is looking to add to our bank of Examination Invigilators. You will work as part of a team of invigilators who will ensure exams are carried out according to the regulations.

Hours will be agreed in advance of exam periods. External exams take place from May to June and various internal exams throughout the academic year.

Under the guidance of the Exam Officer you will start, oversee and finish examinations as necessary. You will be assisting with the preparation of the examination venue, completion of relevant paperwork and the monitoring and management of students during internal and external examinations.

You should have a flexible approach to your work, have good attention to detail, be organised, reliable and punctual. Also, you should be committed to supporting young people and have strong communication skills. You may be asked to read and scribe for pupils to support their needs.

Prior experience is useful, however not essential as full annual training will be given.

The successful candidate will find themselves working in a friendly and supportive environment where we always strive to provide support for our students, particularly during the examination periods.

For further details please email our exams officer: Mrs Tracy Webb email: twebb@ellowes.dudley.sch.uk

Interviews will be held on a rolling basis, shortlisted candidates will be offered an interview and should a successful appointment be made the advert will be closed and candidates informed.

If we discover anything during our searches this will be passed onto the recruitment manager and discussed during interview.

We are deeply committed to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of Children and expect all Staff and Volunteers to share this commitment. All necessary Safeguarding checks will be undertaken which must have satisfactory outcomes, otherwise the conditional job offer may be withdrawn.
