Monday – Friday 12:30 – 3:15pm (Term time + INSET)

For September 2024, the Principal and the Local Academy Council of Tynsel Parkes CE Primary Academy, in Uttoxeter, are seeking to appoint a highly motivated Teaching Assistant to join our hard working and committed team. These hours will be 8:45 – 12pm daily. We want someone with drive, commitment, energy and a willingness to put the children’s needs first to join us. The ideal candidate would have experience in delivering phonics and other interventions, having the ability to accelerate progress.

We are also looking for a highly skilled HLTA to deliver PPA in the afternoons at Tynsel Parkes. (A Level 4 for Teaching Assistant, or recognised equivalent qualification is required).

 Can deliver a range of interventions to support children
 Effective use of ICT to support teaching and learning
 Plan and prepare teaching and learning objectives using a scheme of work, adjusting activities/work plans as appropriate.
 Undertake marking of planned work.
 Monitor and evaluate pupil responses to learning activities using a range of assessment and monitoring strategies against pre-determined learning objectives

The jobs could be offered to one person on two contracts or offered as a morning and afternoon position to two people. Dependent on qualifications and experience.
