Are you looking for a new challenge?  Do you have the ability to manage high volumes of work, learn quickly, and adapt to changing work processes, then we want to hear from you.

We are looking for a Technical Support Officer to come and work within the Planning Support Team.  You should be confident, enthusiastic and a committed individual who has an eye for detail and the ability to communicate with a wide range of people.  The post holder will deal with the registering and recording of planning applications and other types of applications in accordance with legislative requirements and procedures.  Additional associated administrative services, such as the administration of all appeals received, plotting site boundaries on the Council’s GIS system and answering of general customer queries by telephone and email will also be required.   

Dudley is considered the historic capital of the Black Country. An area with a rich heritage, located in close proximity to many towns and cities as well as extensive greenbelt, making it the perfect place to work and live.  

Salary: £24,294 (pro-rata)

Hours: 30 per week

Contract: Part Time Permanent

Location: Hybrid working – From home and when required at Dudley Council House, Priory Road, Dudley
