An exciting opportunity has arisen to join the Commissioning Service Area in Adult Social Care within the Older People’s Commissioning Team to provide additional capacity to contribute to the delivery of key projects, including support to the management of the extra care referral and allocation process and the commissioning of domiciliary care, as well as assisting in the day-to-day support to the Commissioners in the operational management of key work streams.

You will be enthusiastic and motivated, and you will be able to demonstrate an ability to work in an agile way in an environment that is fast paced and have a flexible approach to your work.

You will be joining a committed and talented commissioning team. Most of all, we are looking for people with passion and drive to make people’s experiences of adult social care the best they can possibly be.

Given the way we are now working, you will have developed skills in remote working, including communicating with colleagues and providers using video conferencing, but you must also be keen to re-develop those important face-to-face relationships. The post is hybrid, and it is expected that the successful candidate will work from home and the office, with a minimum of 2-3 days working from the office.
