St Peter’s Bratton Church of England Academy (part of St Chad’s Academies Trust) is seeking to appoint a highly motivated Pastoral Support team member to join our dedicated and supportive team.   We are looking for someone who will:

  • Promote the inclusion and acceptance of children with Special Educational Needs within the classroom, ensuring access to lessons and their contents through appropriate clarification, explanation and resources.
  • Be an excellent, empathetic and enthusiastic practitioner who has experience and knowledge of dealing with mental health and wellbeing.
  • Provide support in addressing the needs of pupils who need particular help to overcome barriers they may face within school life.
  • Carry out assessments and show impact of support.
  • Implement agreed programmes of identified interventions.
  • Work alongside outside agencies.
  • Have high expectations of childrens’ achievement and behaviour.
  • Be committed to working in close partnership with parents and carers.
  • Enjoy working as part of a team.
