Salary: £34,667 - £37,068 per annum 
35 Hours per Week
Location: County Hall, Worcester with Hybrid working
Temporary: 2 Years

The Role:

Well, the Visit Worcestershire team are on look out for a new Project Manager to join their small but vibrant team.

Visit Worcestershire’s key aim is to put Worcestershire on the map as a destination of choice for visitors, creating a ‘Billion Pound’ Visitor Economy.

The team work on areas such as: business support programmes, national and international marketing campaigns, group travel and trade, as well as large scale projects and events – all with the aim to develop the sector and promote the County.

This exciting new role will focus on the delivery of our acclaimed business support programme, supporting businesses with product development and accessibility as well as supporting on a number of ad-hoc projects such as Taste Worcestershire.

The successful candidate will be pro-active, have project management experience, be great at communicating with people and businesses - with a keen eye for detail.

Experience working within Destination Management, or the wider tourism sector is not essential but is desirable.

The role is 35 hours per week on a two year – fixed term basis. Extension subject to funding.
The job is based within the councils Growth and Investment Team (flexible working available, must be able to get to County Hall twice a week).
