Salary G2 £11.59 - £11.98 per hour

What are we looking for?

We require hardworking, reliable, enthusiastic and motivated cleaners to join our team at various locations within the borough- in return, we offer excellent pay and holiday entitlements.

Duties will include:
  • Vacuuming,
  • Sweeping,
  • Washing,
  • Polishing,
  • Dusting,
  • Emptying litter bins,
  • Deep cleaning
  • Using powered equipment as required.

About you:

The successful candidate must have an understanding of the safe use of cleaning chemicals/machinery.

You will need to ensure the required standards of cleanliness and presentation are maintained within our schools and outlying buildings.

You will be expected to follow all operating procedures to ensure that health and safety requirements are maintained at all times.

Busill Jones

Hours per week: 7.30hrs -- Start time: 3.30pm

(39 weeks per year)

Lindens Primary School

Hours per week: 10.30hrs - Start time: 3.30pm

(38 weeks per year)

Blue Coat Infant school

Hours per week: 10hrs -- Start time: 3.30pm

(39 weeks per year)

Chuckery Primary school

Hours per week: 12hrs -- Start time: 3.15pm

(39 weeks per year)

Delves TMO flat (Bell drive)

Hours per week: 2.05hrs - Start time: Flexi -9.30am-2.00pm

(52 weeks per year)

This post is covered by the Government’s Code of Practice on the English Language Fluency Duty for public sector workers. The post holder will be required to communicate verbally with customers and provide advice and/or information in accurate spoken English.
