You will be responsible for the management and administration of various mechanical and electrical works to our properties. This includes monitoring the quality, performance, adherence to specifications and compliance with the programme of servicing and repairs completed by our approved contractors.

You will have responsibility for the following areas of work across the portfolio of our managed properties:

•Electrical – Day to Day Electrical Repairs, Void works, cyclical electrical testing programme and associated remedial works.

•Mechanical - Water Boost Pumps and Underground pipework repairs

You will require particular skills and abilities associated with your areas of work, but will also be expected to carry out duties covering other areas of work within the team as and when required.

. Customers have told us that their responsive repairs service is very important to them, and a good customer focus is therefore vital.

The role is a busy one, so the ability to prioritise and manage stress are key skills for the role. We also work with a range of contractors and external agencies so good communication and negotiation skills will be needed. Technical knowledge and a good grasp of Health and Safety are pre-requisites for the post.

With experience in either the social housing or commercial property sector, the ideal candidate will have demonstrable experience of managing a Responsive Repairs and Voids service, financial control/budget management and value for money.

Reporting directly to the Compliance Team Manager you will work to provide an exceptional customer experience to both internal and external stakeholders. Additionally you will contribute to commercial growth aspirations, review our current systems and processes, propose new options and suggestions relating to service delivery, and provide accurate and well-maintained data which will lead to a process of continuous improvement in the services we provide.
