CORPORATE EQUALITY & DIVERSITY OFFICER
£38,223 - £42,403
(£20,661 – £22,920 pro rata)

20 hours per week
The Council places a high priority on equalities, diversity and inclusion and is looking for an experienced and innovative professional to lead and shape our approach.
Working with senior officers, members and stakeholders, this role will play a key role in developing and implementing our equality, diversity and inclusion strategy and action plan.
You will be responsible for maintaining and improving the Council’s position as an inclusive employer and improve our engagement with residents, community groups and embed equalities in all aspects of our work.
We are seeking an outstanding individual with experience of successfully delivering projects and achieving change related to equalities. You will have an up-to-date knowledge of relevant legislation and the ability to build strong working relationships.
This is an exciting opportunity to make a real difference at the Council and throughout the Borough.
