Do you care for your local environment and have two mornings a week to spare? Would you like to work with a charity promoting and encouraging the protection of Staffordshire’s countryside, towns and villages?
The Staffordshire branch of the CPRE (Campaign to Protect Rural England) requires someone to work in the Stafford office, on a self employed basis, to assist the Office & Publicity Manager with office duties, event organisation, fund raising and membership administration. Applicants will need to be able to use Microsoft Office software and have excellent organisational skills, good writing skills and a pleasant telephone manner.
Duties will include: handling telephone enquiries; preparing and responding to written and emailed correspondence; preparing meeting agendas and taking meeting minutes; assisting with the preparation of newsletters and other publications; assisting with the organisation of events, training and meetings and maintaining the CPRE Staffordshire membership and contacts lists.
Some out of hours work, including the occasional weekend morning or afternoon, will be required. Fund raising experience and / or knowledge of local planning would be an advantage.
