Join Our Team: Revenue and Benefits System Support Officer Needed

Are you passionate about supporting business systems and driving innovation in public services? We are looking for a dedicated System Support Officer to join our dynamic team and contribute to the success of our Revenues and Benefits services. We use the NEC Revenue and Benefits System along with the Civica D360 document management solution.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Provide technical and functional support for business systems related to Revenues and Benefits. The main focus of this role will be in relation to the Revenue functions of the service.
  • Liaise with software suppliers and support system development and implementation.
  • Manage batch processing routines and ensure data integrity across systems.
  • Handle interfaces between various internal and external systems, including council tax and benefits systems.

For this role the successful candidates must undergo a Baseline Personnel Security Standard (BPSS) check. BPSS is the minimum standard to ensure the identity and integrity of an employee who has access to official information using secure networks linking central government and local authorities. A BPSS check involves four main elements; Identity Check, National and Immigration Status, Employment History (last 3 years) and Verification of Criminal Record (unspent convictions only).
