Salary: Band P SCP 39-41, FTE 47,420 - 51,782 (Actual £24,856pa to £27,143pa)
Hours: 22.25 hours per week
As our expansion continues Our Lady of the Magnificat multi-academy would be delighted to recruit a Director of Governance & Policy to support the Board of Directors and the executive team.
As Director of Governance and Policy, you will be primarily accountable for ensuring that the organisation operates within the relevant legal, regulatory, and good practice frameworks, including ESFA regulations. The role involves supporting the Board of Directors and the executive team, senior management, and external regulatory bodies to provide best practice in governance, policies, risk management, and compliance. Other parts of the role would involve supporting the schools with complaints and exclusions.
The role is part-time (22.25 hours per week), term time plus five inset days. The role will require being on site once a week and attendance at Board meetings which are generally held on teams in the evenings.
We are looking for an experienced candidate who has a good understanding of how good governance works to support us on our journey.
We are a family of 17 schools across Warwickshire and Worcestershire, all part of the Diocese of Birmingham.
