The role of PA is to support Looked After Young People and Care Leavers, as they transition into independence. This is a crucial time for these young people and you will work with a number of different agencies, including Foster Carers and Accommodation Providers and be involved in or take the lead in completing Pathway Plans.

You will work with 16- 21 year olds (25 if in education), from a wide variety of backgrounds and will become the lead professional when they reach 18 years old.

This post requires NVQ Level 3 in Childcare or equivalent. This if a full time post, with a varied case load, and is based within a supportive team in The Throughcare Team in Burton-on-Trent.

Driving, with your own vehicle, is essential, as is knowledge of benefits and housing entitlements.
