Temporary Opportunity – Princes Trust Team Leader – Safer Communities CIC

Salary: Grade 5 - £20,661 to £22,658

Hours: 37 hours (flexible working hours in operation)

Locations: Stafford Fire Station

Duration: 6 months with the potential to become permanent subject to funding.

We have a vacancy for a Princes Trust Team Leader, to assist in supporting the Princes Trust Programme Team. Please see full Job Description attached.

Duties to include:

The Team Leader supports the Trusts mission ‘to help disadvantaged young people in the UK to change their lives and get into work, education or training’ by:

• To work alongside the Princes Trust Team Leader to progress young people through the programme

• Supporting young people to achieve positive outcomes in the best and most effective way

• To support and grow The Princes Trust reputation within the youth sector

We are looking for candidates that can demonstrate:-

• Maths and English Level 2 or GCSE Grade C and above is essential

• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills

• Presentation and delivery skills

• The ability to work as part of a team

• Excellent IT and administrative skills

• Excellent organisation skills and the ability to prioritise your work to meet deadlines

• A full driving licence is essential.

The successful candidate will be required to attend meetings and training courses across the region and the country and have the flexibility to work some evenings, weekends and night cover on the residential week as required.

Previous experience of working with challenging young people is desirable.

A Princes Trust Team Leader Certificate would be advantageous

Certificate in Education Level 3/4 would be Advantageous

A D1 Mini-bus driving license would be advantageous

An Enhanced plus Barring DBS Check will be required for this post.
