The Post Room at Shire Hall is a busy, hard-working and customer focussed team who undertake a variety of functions supporting our colleagues across Warwickshire County Council.
We are currently looking for an enthusiastic, proactive part time Administrative / Post Room Assistant to join the Facilities Post and Meeting Service, on a part time basis working 25 hours per week, every day Monday to Friday.
25.0 Hours per Week
£15,238 - £16,191 pa pro rata
As our Administrative Assistant, you’ll be based in the Post Room in Shire Hall supporting customers. You’ll be responsible for sorting; delivering and collecting post around the buildings including Shire Hall; Saltisford; Northgate House and Barrack Street which will, on occasion, include lifting or carrying larger items and equipment. You’ll be walking and standing for long periods of time and use our Post Trolley for supporting the collection and distribution of the post. In addition you’ll be working within a small team, carrying out administrative duties including creating car park passes and ID badges.

The successful person will have previous experience of working in a front line customer service environment, preferably in a Post Room and be used to dealing with a variety of clients. Good administrative; planning and organising and IT skills are also required.
