Pupil Inclusion Officer

Based in our People Directorate and reporting to the Inclusion and Attendance Manager you’ll support the local authority fulfil its statutory duties and responsibilities for school attendance, inclusion, exclusion, Children Misssing Education (CME) and in-year fair access arrangements and securing safeguarding requirements. You will also be responsible for maintaining effective monitoring and information for exclusions and supported transfers.
To be successful, you’ll need be someone with a high degree of accuracy, committed to customer care and someone with excellent numeracy, literacy and keyboard skills. You’ll also have had experience of advising parents and schools on policy, guidance or legislation.

Work Pattern: 37 Hours per week
